ABOUT ME

Caroline has donned a to-do list and timeline her whole life. From planning her own birthday parties as a child (cue: older brothers dressing up as “hotel concierge” for her 3rd grade soirée) to producing film, theater, and non-profit events in New York City, Caroline has always been inspired by the transcendent power of a well-crafted event.

She graduated New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre and Double Minor in American Sign Language and Applied Theater. At NYU, she specialized in Creative Project Management, receiving the Community Connection award for the student advocacy events she planned for disabled students. She stage managed and produced dozens of immersive theatrical experiences, both at NYU and Off-Broadway at Ars Nova, Soho Playhouse, Playwrights Horizons Theatre, Sony Hall, The Alice Griffin Theatre, and more.

In 2021, Caroline was selected out of a competitive group to be one of eight multi-hyphenate artists to participate in the Nine Muses Entertainment Lab. Using her production and design expertise, and mentored by Bryce Dallas Howard and Nia Farrell, Caroline created a documentary on the gender and sex bias in medicine for chronically ill women. She met, pitched to, and received feedback from titans of the industry like Laeta Kalogridis to Jason Fuchs.

Partnering with her husband, Caroline founded Apri Studios, a production studio focused on styled shoots. Currently, Caroline uses her myriad production knowledge as an event producer for brand activations, launches, galas, weddings, styled shoots, and social events around NYC. She currently works as a Lead Planner for Forbes Functions, a boutique event planning company, curating memorable experiences for bold brands and party people alike. She is a client manager and senior coordinator with The Day Of Company and Wild Heights Events, providing high-touch, thorough coordination for couples. She also serves as the Special Events Coordinator for [gather], a 501-C3 non-profit organization that seeks to empower women to cultivate community and be built up in leadership; At [gather], she is responsible for producing dozens of events, annual galas, retreats, and panels for hundreds of women around NYC.

When not checking things off a color-coded to-do list, you can find Caroline maxing out her library card, watching “Law and Order” with her charming husband, or drinking her fourth iced americano of the day.

What I Bring to the Table

MOOD BOARDS YOU’LL DROOL OVER:

I’m a daughter of interior designers, raised on HGTV and Architectural Digest. I dream of table settings and stationery, florals and finishings, and all things refined. Nothing excites me more than scouring unlikely places for inspiration.

A STORY TO TELL:

My background in theatre and film means I have all the production know-how with a storyteller’s lens. My experience in the film and theatre industry gives me my edge as an event planner. I understand the arcs and theatricality of an evening. A dramatic reveal? An unforgettable entrance? Let’s talk.

CRISIS CALL CENTER:

When it comes to the day of, you’ll never see me run, sweat, swear, snap or stumble. My greatest asset is my ability to stay calm under pressure and anticipate a client’s every need (or potential disaster!) with insight and precision.

A Good Event is Magic

With precision, we can achieve magic. This is my guiding principle as an event coordinator. Through intricate planning, I can create a transcendent, communal experience in a world created just for you, in a city burgeoning with excitement, with strangers-turned-friends sharing in a moment of pure bliss.
